Imagination/Transformation

Jen Khoshbin refers to herself as a "compulsive creator."  I first stumbled upon her work when I found her resin animal head molds on Etsy. I flipped out for several reasons, the first being the concept and architecture of the pieces, the second because I love animal themed art, and lastly because of the designs and textures of the paper Jen chooses to adorn each one with... il_430xn_64716442

I  then discovered the San Antonio based artist's online portfolio and was blown away by how talented and imaginative this girl is! She works mainly with the reconstructing and manipulation of vintage books.

While at her website, be sure to check out her "intonation" section where there is a listening station for music boxes she's installed within vintage books.
